The list is mostly composed of science-fiction books ranging from some classics (Isaac Asimov, Frank Herbert, Dan Simmons, etc.) and some recent authors (Jeff Vandermeer, Emma Newman, and more). There's also some thriller, science, and others types of books.

I might just be a bit bored of this type of books where the main character manages to be the needed hero time and time again in highly specific situations. Otherwise the book is an easy read but wouldn't pick this one again for a reread.
